Doug spent 15 years as a master woodworker and brings fine woodworking details into every job he does. He started SAGE Builders of WNC, Inc.  to focus on sustainable, appropriate, green, and efficient (SAGE) building techniques. Doug specializes in custom homes that utilize solar designs and custom woodworking. SAGE prides itself in working with natural materials that blend with the surrounding landscape and orientation of the property. SAGE builds beautifully hand-crafted homes with passive and active solar amenities to make a cozy and comfortable space. With experience in alternative and conventional building, Doug works with their customers to make their dreams a reality.
